The Sewing Basket

I love haberdashery. Over the years I have bought and inherited from family members a large collection of sewing bits and pieces. Thankfully I have several sewing baskets to store them in! I needed a new needle case so decided to create my own small range of sewing accessories. I sourced some perfect fabric printed in the UK. The prints are inspired by the trend for vintage sewing images. They feature 1950’s influenced haberdashery, sewing patterns and equipment. I have designed and made a variety of pincushions, needle cases and drawstring bags that can be used for storing scissors.

If these are to be given as gifts I can customise the needle cases with an appliquéd initial.
